Background & Experience
Gary began his real estate career in 2003 after a successful career as: President and owner of a national consumer package goods company that sold to more than 10,000 of the top supermarket, drug, mass merchant and grocery wholesalers in the country; Vice President of business development for an international non-profit; and Vice President of an Atlanta advertising firm. In 2007 Gary was asked to join the new Omaha office of Marcus & Millichap where he specialized in investment sales on a national basis. Gary counseled clients in: apartment properties, shopping centers, office and industrial buildings, single-tenant net-lease properties, hotels/motels, senior-housing facilities, self-storage and land/land development. Gary joined NAI NP Dodge in March of 2011 assisting clients predominately in the NE & IA markets. In February 2015, NAI NP Dodge presented Gary with an award in recognition of his sale of an 83,200 SF Class “A” Industrial building which was the Largest Value in a Single Transaction for 2014 in his office. Gary’s listing sold for $4.4 million dollars in three days.
Gary is excited to be joining the Commercial Division of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Ambassador Real Estate and being part of an organization that can network with over 2,000 commercial brokers in 47 states in an office that has won the national award as the #1 Office in the Nation eight out of the last nine years! This recognition has generated interest in the Midwest commercial market from investors from all over the world which Gary hopes to maximize for his client base.
Gary studied marketing and finance at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln earning a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing/management. Along with obtaining his Broker’s license, Gary has taken a number of national real estate education courses so he can offer his clients the most current and up-to-date programs and services.
